2013 Frankfort Chamber President - Denise Kessler

Hello Members! I am so excited about this upcoming year! The real estate market is picking up, I am healthier than I was a year ago, and I get to be the Chamber President for this year!
The past few years have been full of change at the Chamber. We had a complete remodel of the building, and with that came a major clean out and re-organization of the offices and attic. We updated all of the policies and created a few new policies to reflect the current business environment. Now we are re-organizing some of our committees to make them more impactful for our members. It’s a great time to join one of our committees and become more involved.
This year, we will have two 60 Minute Ed events instead of the 6 sessions we had last year. The planning for these events is starting now. Ideas are flowing regarding the best topics to present to the Chamber and the venue. If you are not on a committee yet, how about becoming involved with this one?
The Ambassadors Committee is beginning the planning of the next Pub, Grub, and Network event scheduled for this spring. If you attended this last year, you already know how much fun it was going to various places, sampling food and drinks, and meeting new people. The Ambassadors are also involved with our BAHS and in welcoming our new businesses. This is a great committee for meeting MANY people. They would love to add you to the committee!
If you love to golf, then join our golf outing committee! This year the outing will be held the Odyssey Country Club on Thursday, July 11, 2013. Many sponsorship opportunities will be available for your business, not to mention attending the outing is a great way to meet and network with other Chamber members in a fun atmosphere. If you are not able to be a part of the committee, please plan on joining us at the outing for an awesome day!
