There is always something happening in Frankfort.
The pace is more relaxed, and the experience, memorable!
The Frankfort Chamber of Commerce hosts a myriad of events throughout the year both for it's members and the community at large. Networking is at the heart of most of our events, but we also know how to have fun!
Don't forget to check out the Village of Frankfort's Event Calendar or Frankfort Park District for information on their latest events. Or just spend the day and explore what Frankfort has to offer via the Old Plank Road Trail in our community. We even have our very own Frankfort Country Market. This is a "grower's only" market, featuring locally-grown produce, plants, baked goods, prepared food and gourmet products.
Located in Frankfort, Illinois, just 35 miles southwest of Chicago, we are here to help you in anyway with information about our community. Frankfort is located at the intersections of Illinois State Routes 45 and 30. Interstate 80 is just two miles north and Interstate 57 is three miles to the east. Interstate 80 and the I-355 extension gives Frankfort direct access to the Northwest suburbs of Chicago. The Metra commuter train is close by providing access to the Chicago loop and all stops in between. Both O'Hare International and Midway Airports are less than an hour away.
Frankfort has come a long way since the mid-1800's when settlers first journeyed to the area on Indian trails. Frankfort has become an excellent place to work and locate a business...and continues to be a great place to raise a family! Come and see our quaint historic district, excellent schools and great shopping. Hopefully the information on this site will encourage you to visit us, and feel free to call the Chamber Office if you have any additional questions. The Chamber's office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
